I understand there are no remaining hot tubs in the family area. That's what I've been told anyway - I have only seen the one photo.

Since they closed them all ridiculously early anyway...this gets a shoulder shrug from me. IMO all pools and hot tubs should basically be open 24 hours, only closing briefly during the middle of the night for cleaning/maintenance.

they were always full of unsupervised kids, and I could be wrong but I thought young children were supposed to be supervised when using hot tubs. Of course it's not too good for teens who want to use one.

You know, maybe if it truly was a HOT swirling toilet, it might be a little less icky, but the one time my DD dragged me into one of the hot tubs, it was barely lukewarm. So the analogy of a swirling toilet is very appropriate.

Oh DS is going to be so disappointed. He gets cold easily and loves to switch between the hot tub and the pool. We may not be able to even get him into the pool for long then. Oh well, he can hang out in the kids club, and we can drink boat drinks in the adult hot tub

It is honestly better. Kids get left way too much unsupervised in the hot tubs. I know it is suggested kids not use them at all but if they are using them someone really needs to time them to make sure they don't over heat.

Honestly, I'm surprised nothing tragic has happened in those hot tubs. I told my children to never get in there if there was more than six people. I've seen them "standing room only". Dangerous and disgusting.

There were always so many kids in them that they were constantly overflowing...they had to have a pool deck worker there to clean up the water all day. So between too many kids in them and the water hazard the new play area is probably safer.

Doesn't seem like a huge loss, to me. Only 11 months (and a few days) until we get to see all the changes/improvements for ourselves!
