Can someone compare June vs. September?

My dd has finally given in and agreed to another Disney trip! We have always gone in mid to late September for free dining but last year it was still very hot and crowded. Can anyone tell me what June is like in comparison?? TIA.

June is also very hot but even more crowded. I know from my friend going in June many times. At one point she called me from FL to tell me MK was closed to any more incoming guests. :scared1:
When they released the 'free on your birthday' promotion, I knew I couldn't do it since my bday is mid June.
I just can't take heat and crowds. One or the other is hard enough. Both is too much.

I've gone in June and it's hot and crowded, but in my experience, not as hot and crowded as July. Now I'm wondering about late Aug. anyone have thoughts on that? Sept. is my absolute favorite month to go, but it's so hard with school.

OP if you go in June, make sure you have a plan, it's best to go at Rope Drop, take a break at lunchtime and go back in the evening. Good Luck planning, remember it's WDW anytime is better than not going!!!

For 09 we tried the last week of Aug, leading into LD weekend. Loved it! Hotter than h*** but by the end of the week we were getting used to it.
Crowds were not bad at all. My dh really can't stand crowds so we usually go while kids are in school. Now that ours are in middle school, we can't just pull them out of a week. Late Aug worked out perfectly and we would do it again for sure.

Thank you! I was thinking that might be the case as some parts of the country are back in school and the rest are prepping to go back. I am in the same boat with school, we love Sept. but have 1 DD in HS and one in Middle school and am heitant to pull them out.

Thanks everyone! Pretty much what I expected the responses to be. My kids will be in Kindergarten and Second Grade so it's not too bad to pull them out of school. The only issue we have is they only allow 10 days for absences and if we take 7 for vacation that doesn't leave much for sick days:)
