Can someone answer ???

I know you can do early checkin's when you get there in the morning even though a room may not be available...But I am transferring day #2 from AKL to POR and wanted to get there early (before 7am) to check into POR before I even check out of AKL so I can get my park hoppers etc (they are on the POR ressie) then go back, do the Tuesday morning meet and greet @ AKL with the characters @ 8 then head to the park, and have bell services take care of my luggage.
Is this possible?

I don't see why not. You should be able to check-in as early as you want. The only issue I can see is transportation to POR that early. But I guess you could take a cab.

Not sure about this unless this has started within the last month, but to my knowledge Disney stoped the Meet and Greets at the Resorts when they started EMH back up. Is this NEW? Or do you have out dated information?

I was kind of wondering this myself, but thought maybe it was part of something new. But the old character caravan meet and greets was what came to mind at first glance.
MissMichelle....come back and tell us what it is that you are going to.

I hope this isn't what she what is was planning. I just hate for her to do all that running back and forth to try and do this when Disney hasn't been doing the Meet & Greets for over a year now.

Looks like some old information. There are no meet and greets, and you can check in whenever you want. I checked in at 7:30 am in 2004. My room was ready and off we went.

Maybe I got bad info Nonetheless, the kids would love to hang out there a little longer and have breakfast @ AKL etc before heading to the first park day....So hopefully I can get between resorts by cab quick and easy so that I can check in, get my hoppers and dining, go back, use 1 CS credit for each of us on breakfast then check out of AKL and start the day.

I have a good feeling we'll like POR a lot!

I wasn't too set on a meet and greet @ AKL..so that isn't a biggie..I already todl the kids that we are setting aside 1 whole day for meet and greets instead of during "ride" days. They love that idea.

I can't wait to eat @ Boma! We have ADR's for our first night in Orlando there. YUM YUMMMMM
