Can people smoke in rooms??

Can people smoke in hotel rooms?? I just wanted to know cause I will call and make sure I get a non smoking room.

i believe all resorts and rooms are now non smoking and they have only dsignating smoking areas at each resort and park

As of June 1, 2007, all WDW resort hotel rooms became non-smoking. Does that mean that everyone will follow the rules?
