I was going to bring ours since the kids love him so much, it would help to keep them quiet, but with the need for safe flying I would understand if he's restricted.. Anyone know if he can fly?

Yes he can fly. He needs to be off for take off and landing.

(Well the truth is that if you don't want someone to hit Pal Mickey he needs to be OFF all the time. Toys that talk and airplanes aren't a good match LOL!)

thank you, and you bet the plan is for him to be off... for all our sakes ;0)

That's what I was thinking. I bought a Pal Mickey when they very first came out and took him on two trips. The first trip my adult son asked me how much I paid for him, then offered to buy me another when we got home if I'd let him throw that one in a canal or lake down there to shut him up. Pal Mickey spent the rest of that trip in the room. I took him back a few months later for a solo trip and he spent that trip sitting on the window sill in the room. If I had to sit next to one that was talking on an airplane, I think I'd be the one offering to buy him so I could flush him. :rotfl: After a 2 or 3 hour flight listening to him and his corny jokes in that silly voice of his, I believe whoever was sitting next to you would be wanting to toss him.

edited: oops! I posted before I read your response. Sorry and speaking on behalf of your fellow passengers that's a good decision to have him off.

no problem, I appreciate the input, really, sometimes parents get so caught up in the hectic travel day they don't think! But we've had him for a few years and are very pleased they were smart enough to install an off switch! When dd3 learned it wasn't just "dead batteries" but a switch, I thought OH No, but we taught her it's only for mommy and daddy and that has worked so far... phew
