We are staying onsite for 5 days next week and my dad who lives in fl is coming up for one day. Can he ride the bus with us from ASMo to Epcot or do you have to have a room key and/or magic band to ride the bus?

Thanks

If you're doing something in Disney World(visiting the parks, touring the resorts) you're a WDW guest and can ride any of the WDW transportation options(buses, monorails and boats).

Before he arrives, go down to the front desk to get him a parking pass if he is driving in.

It is possible he may be denied boarding early buses that go to a park with early extra magic hour, or, if not accompanied by you, random late evenings when security is enhanced at selected resorts.

Unless it is incredibly busy, that isn't likely to happen. I have never been asked to show resort I'd when getting on a bus or any other type of transportation. Not even when I boarded a bus from BW, while staying at at the Dolphin, heading to race stuff. Can it happen? Sure. But it's just nothing worth worrying about.

While probably technically true, I'm guessing the odds of winning the Power Ball TWICE are better than someone being asked to produce proof of staying on the grounds when getting on a bus.
