Can off site folks use Disney busses?

Do Disney buses even have those scanners needed to read a Magic Band? I doubt that would be practical even if they could. I do recall many years ago there were restrictions on who could ride the monorail to prevent kids from joyriding around for no reason. However, the most recent time I was there, can't recall any signs that restrict its use. I have never been asked to prove where I am staying to use Disney transportation in the past several years. Even when you go through security to board a monorail, they don't ask you to prove where you are staying.

No, no MB scanners on the buses. Thank goodness, too, because it would take forever to load a full bus at park closing!

Oh I agree it's highly unlikely to happen. They could easily change that policy verbiage if they wanted to, but I don't see it happening.

Oh heavens, if we start discussing their ability to change policy at any time that pretty much applies to everything and anything they choose wouldn’t it? We don’t make a habit to include that disclaimer elsewhere I really don’t think it’s needed here either. Point is they do have a written policy that addresses the original question and it’s allowed. What was done in the past is moot. It’s not policy now. And future policy is moot too since it’s impossible to know

Yes. I was more just thinking out loud that the policy is it’s allowed with Disney‘s blessing and that’s all that matters.
