My son needs to stop using his pacifier and here in Denmark it's tradition to give your old ones to Santa, but instead of sending them to Santa I wondered if it's possible to give them to Mickey or one of the other caracters on the ship?

Ask the CM " minder" each Character has a minder with them, if you let that CM know, they will assist, but Mickey has four fingers and sometimes can't hold things.

My son 18 months had a Chip feed him a whole bottle of baby milk. It was busy and we were worried that other children wouldn't be able to see Chip. But Chip insisted, by communicating with the minder CM. Later we saw Chip in another place and Chip was able to gesture, that he remembered my son from earlier.

The Minder CM is there to take care of the characters and ensure thier OK, and have no issues such as health issues. They form their own communications between them.

Some characters it wouldn't be possible, Buzz for example being made of plastic has plastic hands, face characters such as princesses who can speak shouldn't have an issue.

I am not sure if they will take this from you or not. But, would it upset your son to see Mickey later in the cruise and want his pacifier back? Might it create challenges for you and your son to be without his pacifier when away from home and off his regular schedule?

My granddaughter did something similar. We told her that Tinkerbell would come and take them when she was asleep - kind of like the tooth fairy. She thought Tink would give them to babies who wanted them (I know - gross!). Of course they went in the trash but she spent the rest of the trip looking at babies with pacifiers. Btw - we hid one or two just st in case she became inconsolable, but she never did!

Personally I think it is a very cute idea! I would def. speak with the CM who is friends with Mickey but, honestly I don't see why the wouldn't do it. I think the putting it in a plastic bag is a good idea too. Happy Sailings! :sail:
