Hi! This will be our first time to Disney (2 weeks from today!!). I know that our 5 yo will have lots to ride. What can we actually put our 20 mo on (with us holding him)? Thank you so much for your help in advance!!

Every ride in Fantasyland at MK. Wedway in Tomarrowland... the jungle cruise, Pirates, Train around MK, Spaceship Earth @Epcot...

I really could go on... there really is alot that you can go on with your 20 month old... we did that as well when our daughter was almost 2. That is the beauty of Disney, the whole family really can get alot out of it. The obvious ones like, ToT, Spash, Big Thunder, etc, have this wonderful thing called baby swap... everyone can ride. For example your DH and 5 yo can ride Barnstormer while you wait with the baby, when they get off you and your 5 yo can use the pass that you Dh was given to ride yourself while he waits with the baby. You won't be as "handicapped" at Disney as you would be at some other theme park.

Congrats on your trip... your in for a wonderful time!!

Buzz Lightyear
Jungle Cruise
The Barnstormer Roller Coaster
River of Time or Rio del Temps(Mexico/Epcot)
Playhouse Disney Show (MGM-DS)
The Great Movie Ride (MGM- DS)
Festival of the lion king show (AK)
There are alot of rides in Dinoland at AK for little kids.
I agree that baby swap is the best thing since sliced bread.

He really loved Mickey and Minnies houses- and he loved riding the disney busses and monorail (he's a cheap date)

Thanks for all the suggested rides, cheapmom! Now, what is childswap? Can you tell me how this works? Thank you!

Childswap: Say you and your spouse and older child want to go on Space Mountain- but of course your baby can't go on that ride. Tell the CM at the ride entrance (if you don't see anybody- go to the fastpass line- there will definately be someone there) that you would like to do a baby-swap. The CM will either give you a ticket or just say- "Ok- come and see me when the first riders are done" Then the first 2 people ride while you wait with the little
one(s)- then when they are finished you can go on the ride with 1 other person- no waiting. I did it twice last year- once they sent me through the fast pass lane and the other time they brought me in through the exit and I got right on.
It is great.

Thanks for filling me in! I am so glad I found out about child swap before we go in 2 weeks. I would have really been missing out!

If you don't mind spend a little money, I would recommend the passporter or the official guide to Disney. They will give you insite to the rides. I have to say that the recomendatiosn that you got were great suggestions. Have a great time on your vacation. I've been to Dis with and without my boys. I wouldn't trade that experience for the world!

Have a magical day,
Anna
