Can Multiple Guests in your Party Book ADRs

There are a few restaurants we're trying to get that will be hard to come by (CP on Xmas morning, Narcoossee's Xmas Dinner, Ohana, etc.) We have backups listed and everything, just in case.

In the past, I've always had luck doing it myself and I'm always hesitant to pass on the duties. But - I was wondering if we can possibly increase our chances by having multiple people book ADRs. So for example, if my mom and I are both linked, can we both go on at 6am EST and book restaurants or does it only let one person from your party book at a time? We wouldn't be targeting the same spots, we'd be splitting up the list. So, I'd go for CP Xmas morning while she's reserving Narcoosse's.

I can't see why not. If we were to both call Disney and make ADRs they wouldn't stop us... I just wanna see if anyone has had a problem with the system.

You can do this. The only way you'd get blocked would be if you were listed on another ADR at the same time.

Yes, you can have multiple people booking ADRs. We had multiple people booking ADRs on our recent family trip, but we weren't trying to get Crystal Palace on Christmas morning! Good luck, hope you get what you want!

If you both call, you can, but if you do it online and you're both on under the same MDE account (only have the 1 email for all the resort reservations) the online system will only allow you to book 1 ADR (doesn't matter for how many ppl) during the same "meal period." For example if you and your mom were both trying to get Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast on the same morning then you can only book one of them (doesn't sound like it'll be a problem in your case), so if your mom gets her booked and then you attempt to book one too, a screen will pop up telling you you already have a reservation for the meal period and ask if you want to cancel to book the new one.

The only time this would be an issue is if you're trying to book some of the ppl. under your MDE account at one restaurant and other ppl. at another for the same meal period or if you try to break up the party (if you couldn't get an ADR for 8, but you can get 2 ADR's for 4). Under those circumstances the system doesn't look at the fact that only 4 of the 8 ppl. are booked to accept another reservation, so you'd have to cancel 1 to make another one, if that makes sense.

If you're only attempting to get the exact same reservations (same places, meal period times, same # of ppl. etc.) then it shouldn't be an issue, as if you see the message asking you to cancel, then you know the other person already got it reserved, but if you need to break up your party, you'll need to call to get around the system.

That all sounds right to me! But OP says "Mom and I are both linked", I took that to mean they both have separate MDE accounts? And they are going to try to book different tough-to-get ADRs. I think their goal is to both be on the computer at 6AM to increase their chances to get what they want Christmas Day.
