I haven't been to WDW in about 3 years. I feel like I have forgotten everything! Anyway, I want to book a room at AKL. Can MS book as cash room on Sat night and then a points room on Sunday night or do I have to do the cash night through regular reservations? If I can book the cash room through MS, can I mail them a check or do I have to give them a CC# over the phone? I feel like such a rookie!!

As far as I know from what has been previously reported, the cash night at AKL cannot be booked by MS.

I think MS can only do cash at DVC resorts then it is a CC to hold it and you pay at check in

Tor & Doctor P are correct. MS can only book cash nights at the DVC resorts. They could book the AKL for you if you wanted to use points, but if you want to pay cash, you'll have to call CRO/WDWTC.

You better book it as AKL will almost certainly drop from the DC once AKL is announced and possibly as early as Jan or Feb.

Actually, MS can do it. Or should I say certain CMs at MS can do it. I was able to book POFQ in October through MS. I didn't know that I could, I just happened to mention it to the CM and she said I didn't have to call CRO. She told me some CMs at MS can use both systems.
