of a different resort?? I was thinking about touring AKV when we go down in January. Can we do that?

We toured Saratoga even though we owned at Vero, but when we booked it was our assigned guide who gave us the tour and did our add on. We didn't contact her before we went, the person at the information kiosk set it up.

There are flyers, no pun intended, in the rooms indicating a daily open house for members to tour the AKV rooms. I think its from 5 to 7 each night. You could always go over under the "wanting to do an add" and also get a tour any time.

You certainly can do a tour of the AKV units. Just go over to the preview center at SSR (that's where the AK models are) and ask for one. We did this in May - no problem.

You don't really need a reservation. DH and I showed up at the SSR preview center back in May, told them we were already DVC members, and just wanted to see the AKV room samples. While we were there, some other DVC members showed up too.

When we were there in June, & there was a letter in our welcome home folder explaining that you could go from 5-7 every night and tour the AKV rooms! The time was a little rough with ADR's already made, but this time, we planned our dinners around the open hours and will be walking through ourselves in August...

We were there in April and went over to the preview center and had no trouble gettting a tour. They were very nice. :goodvibes
