Can it get any worse??? Britney Spears...

Speaking of forgetting to wear a shirt.. true story, happened to DW Lauri today.

She had a young girl come in her store today wearing red short shorts and a bra. Thats it. No shirt, nothing.

She came in to fill out an application for employment. :sad2:

The highlights of her application? Under special interests of hobbies? I don't kill people and I don't steal anymore.

Is this a joke?

Just pitiful really.

Now in reference to Britney....I just don't think she was brought up well. She appears to have very little class. She's 24 -25? Well, both Reese Witherspoon and Kate Hudson were that age when they had babies. I know others named older actress moms so I remembered these two younger moms. I don't recall ever seeing pictures of Reese or Kate quite like the Brit pictures.

This incident goes to show how valuable a good PR person is. A lot of the misery she's getting is somewhat her fault. A good PR rep wouldn't have allowed that terrible reality show to happen and would have also limited these kind of outings. It's hard to avoid the entertainment press when they follow your every move, but you can somewhat control how the press sees you. She has the money to hire nanny's and helpers if she's buying 30 grand watches for that loser husband of hers. She needs some professional people to take some of the spot light off of her and provide some help. That's why you rarely see some of the bigger celebrities in moments like this. They prevent it happening in the first place.

Isnt this the same day she tripped... I thought I recognized that outfit.

Quite serious. And that is just the tip of the iceburg. She went off on a rant about how wealthy children have all the advantages in college and poor kids are looked at as "unmotivated" - all right there on the application.

At first Lauri thought an employee was playing a trick on her but when they showed her this person on the security camera... :sad2:

I've never been a Britney Spears' fan and definitely think the press should leave her alone. It's funny reading this thread because my sister and I were just talking about her. I was saying that I while I do feel like the press is picking on her, she makes herself an easy target. I understand she is a first time mom and does not know everything, but where is her mother to tell her the things she needs to know? :confused3 Or, maybe a better question is, where are her PR people? I would've thought after the "driving the car with the baby on her lap" incident, her people would've figured out that this girl needs some parenting lessons. I know when I had my first, I looked to my mother to teach me things. While I think it's great that she spends so much time with him and is obviously hands on, she's got enough money to hire herself an army of nanny's to at least tell her how to take care of a baby if she wanted. All I think of when I see pictures of her latest "oops" is that you need a license to drive a car, to fish, to hunt, etc - but you really should have to have a license to be a parent. And, while it's wonderful that Britney's baby gets plenty of fresh air in the sunny outdoors, does that child not own a hat?? :confused3 Every picture I have seen of that child outside, the sun is beating down on his bare head!!! I think Britney needs Super Nanny to pay her a visit!

I think that same US Weekly article I mentioned earlier (like page 5?) said that she fired all of them (including the nanny that dropped Sean and caused that skull fracture).

Yes, you have the money... but is that how you want your child brought up?

I would have never put my kids in the postions that she has but if I had the money, it would have been nice to have a professional help out once in a while. I'm not suggesting that she drop off the child and forget about him and live her life. What I was trying to suggest is that a professional nanny/care provider who would stay in the background and quietly help out. I've seen pictures of other high profile celebs with kids and in the background you will see a nanny of some kind just providing help. I wouldn't want my kids in the spotlight if I was a high profile celebrity and would try to make sure that they were out of the public eye much as possible.

As for a PR rep his or her job would to help Britney make better decisions when going out in public and to put out the fires when something goes wrong. Britney isn't doing too good of a job on her own and has made a lot of the bed she finds herself sleeping in. I'm sure they have some good entertainment PR people/advisors in the show business world and she wouldn't be their first client that needed a public image make over.

I feel bad for the baby she is carrying right now. Being a ball of nerves while pregnant is not healthy for mom or baby. Snapping a picture of the girl crying after nearly dropping her baby is class - high class. The paparazzi should be lined up against a wall and shot. They are out to get her now and she can't win for loosing. I agree with other posters - at least she's *with* her baby and he seems to be the focus and center of her life. If she wants to wear a pink thong while five months along- have at it! God bless her for having the body she does.

There's been pictures of Brit with a nanny holding Sean behind her -- and she got criticized for not holding her baby and letting the nanny take care of everything. http://www.bloggingbaby.com/2006/02/27/britney-cant-you-sit-down-and-feed-your-baby/ Also, her nanny was the one who dropped him from the high chair when it broke.

I was surfing the net for news and I just found this article. It looks like someone in her camp must think the way I do. It looks like she hired a Manny (a male version of a nanny) and from what I read of the article, he's a trained bodyguard as well. It's about time she did something to protect herself and her child. I'm sure he's trained to handle those vultures who snap those pictures of nonstop.
It's a shame that her soon to be ex husband couldn't have helped out and prevented all of this, but it shows what kind of person he is.
Those people who are paid to take those kind of pictures are nothing short of scum in my book. Here is the link to that article below.

I agree. That is really unfair to critcize her for someone else feeding her baby. I know when mine were babies I would gladly let my sisters or my husband or a friend or whoever wanted to help out. Sometimes you just need a moment when you are not holding a baby!
