My DD is on a nebulizer and we leave next week for the world.. Can I carry the machine on or will I have to check it with our bags?? I really would like to carry it on, but I don't know. I know the medicine I can carry on in a zip lock bag..

Carry it on! Never put something that important in your checked luggage!

You will most likely have to pull it out of your bag and they will hand check it and pass it through the scanner. They may swab it just to be sure it is legit, but they see them everyday.

I keep all my medical stuff in one backpack-- nebulizer, meds in a ziplock bag, my foot brace and anything else I need. I keep the neb and the meds arranged so it is very easy to pull them out and put them back in. It is no problem for security, but do be sure to allow yourself extra time for the extra checks they will do.

She doesn't need it all the time, but seasonal allergies are kicking in already.. So we started treatments today again.. Hopefully it will clear fast and we won't need it in Disney..

We fly with our sons and have never had any trouble. We have found the Orlando airport to be a little harder to get through with things, but not to bad. They always make us take it out of the bag, xray it and then take it to a table and wand it. Be sure to bring your box with the RX label for the neb. medications because the last time we flew a man in front of us was told he could only take one vial on because he did not have a RX label on the medicaines and they made him throw the rest away.

Agree with the others - you need to carry it on.
