Can I vent?? Re. Sick Infant

First off, I definately agree that you should go ahead and try another doctor or specialist. Maybe your regualr doctor is missing something. I also want to add that my kids have gotten regular adjustments from our chiropractor since they were babies and I am convinced that they are healthier because of it. Each of them have had ear infections clear up nicely without antibiotics but with extra adjustments. Of course I understand that they were not as bad as your little boys ear infections. However, I have heard from other patients at my chiropractor's office of how much chiropractic care helped clear up their children's ear infections when antibiotic after antibiotic did not work. I hope you can find some answers soon from a new doctor and/or chiropractor and that your son feels much better quickly.!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your support. I am just so frustrated. It sounds like most of you have been there before so thanks just for telling me I am not crazy, horrible and everything in between. I have a follow up appointment with my regular pedetrician in a week. So I think its time to get a little more firm. I have mentioned to her that I am a carrier of CF. My son has been tested so we know that he is safe. But in our moment of freaking out waiting for my husbands results I did a lot of research. It does not hurt to be a carrier however it says you tend to produce more mucus. I have mentioned to my Dr maybe we should test for that. Not that it would make a difference but it would give me piece of mind. Anyways I don't know I think I am grasping at straws.
Thank God my son is very laid back. He is the best little patient. He never lets any of this slow him down. He is just the sweetest little guy. It breaks my heart.

If in doubt, check it out : ) You are your child's advocate and I've seen many people wait it out and hope their doc will "do" something when if pushed you can make things happen. My son has been going through some serious medical issues and I know that mother's instinct is almost always right.
