What with prices going up at Universal and the excellent 14 day Disney deal I am debating whether or not to buy lots of tickets now (whilst I can afford them). Although we are going to Florida in March we don't need any tickets but we're highly likely to visit again next year. Can I buy tickets now and not activate them until next year? Will they still be valid so far in the future?

Universal tickets like the special 7day ticket deal for $99.99 never expire-they are not date stamped. So only start to expire on the first day of use.I bought mine last summer for our 2011 trip and have just bought another 4 for our 2013/14 trip.

Disney Magic Your Way tickets are the same-they are not date stamped so are good next year or in 5yrs.

(this is where i am not sure-so someone please correct me if i am wrong). But i believe the 14 day for the price of a 7 day Disney ticket are yearly stamped-so i believe they have to be activated before Dec2010 if bought now.x.

You're right about the Disney 14/21 day Ultimate tickets Michelle. They have to be activated by the end of December in the year they were bought. So if you bought them this year they would say on the back that they must be activated by 31 December 2010.
