Wow! How'd you do that? I think I'd have to get rid of her jeans too, it does look like she doesn't have feet now. :rotfl:

I think the original picture was fine, but I was going to suggest what Virgo 10 did. My DD has done this with several pictures to get rid of distractions, and it's amazing.

Either way, the picture will make a great Christmas card!

I wouldn't have noticed the shoes either.

It looks like he's saying, "These are my kids... and you'd better not forget it!" :)

Great picture
Gorgeous Family...

but I do have to say BECAUSE you mentioned it and I looked - it did make me laugh about the shoe thing ;) otherwise I would not have noticed really

LOL, it's a shame you couldn't get the dog to smile...but there always has to be one frown in the bunch!

Really, the photo is great, and the shoes aren't obtrusive at all.

Great picture, I didn't notice the shoes until I read your post. Now that I see the great work that Virgo did I think it looks better with the shoes.

I love the picture, especially the dog and the "what in the heck do you think you are doing" look on his face!

I think it looks OK as is, but if you do decide to remove the shoes do the pants as well.

We did a family portrait for our Christmas card 2 years ago and it almost looked like my thumb was poking out the side of DD's body, I had them remove the thumb before I sent out the cards... but the funny thing was that everyone else who saw the picture before the thumb was removed never noticed it until I showed it to them.

This year I am sending out a pic taken while we were at Disneyland, it was a great pic of the 3 of us with 4 characters... Cinderella, Prince Charming and 2 mice. Way behind us, and standing right between me and the Prince was a family of about 7, they are bushes now! :rotfl:

It made me laugh too. I can't help thinking it sorta looks like that character Tim Conway does. :rotfl:

I think it's a beautiful picture. I wouldn't have noticed the shoes either.

I'd use it....the look on the dog's face is priceless. :goodvibes

The shoes don't stick out to me....it's natural to have shoes there from the way your DD is sitting, so it looks normal.

I wouldn't have noticed either, HOWEVER, if the feet bother you a lot, they can be photoshopped out with a clone tool. Email me the full size picture if you'd like me to try. I would just replace her feet with grass.

ETA: Sorry didn't read the whole thread- someone beat me to the punch.

A couple years ago I had a great outdoor snowy pic of my older three kids, but the baby was missing from the pic. Found another pic of her outside, shrunk it flipped her around added a leg and stuck her in oldest ds's arms. We used it for our Christmas card that year. NO ONE could tell, even when I asked.

I think both pictures are fine. It doesn't bother me to see the shoes gone. I'd think she just had her knees up or was sitting cross-legged. Either way, it is a great picture.

Even after you said something about the shoes I had to look again. Didn't notice them at all.

GREAT picture.

You can always crop the picture right to your sons side, it would get rid of most of her shoes if it really bothers you.
