upon checkin? We are planning on checking in early in the morning and possibly going to a park, however our other option is to just hang out at the pool until our room is ready. Will we be able to do this?

Yes you can. You will have full access to everything at your resort as soon as you check in, even if your room is not ready.

If you are flying make sure your swim suits are in your carry ons so you have access to them (only if using Magical Express). Otherwise if you allow Disney to collect your checked luggage you may not have access to them for 3+ hours.

If you are driving forget everything above!
