Can I use the hotel EMH with very early Check in?

For our next vacation we did't get a room for our first night at the Disney Resort. So we stay nearby and want to check in at Grand California by 5am in the morning. With the time difference to home it is no problem to get up early, we usually are awake by 3am the first night.Then we want to use the early access to which ever park it is offered.So my questiono we get a room key we can use for early entry even when our room is not read? Thanks for your help.

Not sure if you can check in at 5 (for some reason I was thinking 6), but you can definitely check in very early in the day and use EMH that day.

Yes. You can check in early on arrival day before EMH. They will issue you room keys and store your bags at the bell desk. Once your room is actually available they will text you your room #.

Same thing on check out day. You just have to be out of the room by 11a but they will store your bags and car can stay the reminder of the day

I’m also unsure of the earliest allowed time, but I have checked in at 6AM several times. It’s nice to check in early, when registration is quiet. CM have time to hear room requests, rather than being rushed when there’s a long line of guests waiting.

We did exactly this last trip. We booked the GCH for Sunday-Wednesday but when we booked flights the best deal was flying in on Saturday. We couldn't swing another night at the Grand so we booked a motel for the first night. We only spent about 3-4 hours in it anyway. The next morning we checked in at GCH just after 6 and got our room keys to use EMH at DCA which started at 7am that morning.
