Can I use the Dining Plan while at MVMCP?

I'm new to the DP. I thought I read on a MVMCP post that I cannot use the dining plan while the party is going on. Can someone tell me if that is true?

We used ours last year during the party with no problems.

So long as you are using it within the regular parameters (not trying to buy things that are not usually covered with credits) then I don't see why you would have any trouble.
