At this point, we can guess, "Yes."

It IS possible to do with the MNSSHP tickets.

HOWEVER… No FPs can be booked nor can they be used DURING the party.
Only before 7PM.

Unequivocally yes--I did it myself earlier today for MNSSHP and am confident MVMCP will be the same. If using only party tickets, the only windows that make sense are between 4:00p and 7:00p.

I'm wondering about this too. If I have both a Park Hopper AND MVMCP ticket, can I book 3 FP+ with my park hopper (at whatever park I'm going to) and then book 3 more FP+ for MK on my MVMCP ticket (for between 4pm and 7pm)?

Do I have to attach my MVMCP tickets to MDE on a separate account (using a different email address) in order to do this? Or can I use my current MDE account that has my park hoppers linked?

and how far in advance with the party ticket? 30 days, I assume? If I'm not staying on property?

Correct.

And, just to be clear, this is a long-dormant thread from last summer.
That's why some of the answers seem so tentative.

I did notice that, but I figured I'd bump it instead of starting a new thread. I knew someone would find it either way! Thanks, Robo!

Hijacking to avoid creating a whole new thread, but why dont they offer FP+ on the day of the party? Is there that little of a crowd for the rides that its not worthwhile?

That was our experience at the MMVCP on the Friday before Thanksgiving last year. We had FPs booked between 4-7 (which we needed, because lines were long), but after 7 the park really cleared out. We rode Splash Mtn, BTMRR, and HM with essentially no wait at all (were even able to ride Splash a couple of times without even getting out of the log). The only ride I saw that still had a (relatively) long wait was Peter Pan (we did 7DMT using a pre-7 pm FP, so I can't speak to that line during the party).

I was able to do this last year for MVMCP. I had booked 3 FP+ all before 7pm. I set it up so my first one was from 3:10-4:10 (or something like that, I don't remember the exact times) so that I could easily get at least 2 of them in before getting in line for the 7 Dwarves around 5:30pm. My fiance went and used his 3rd FP+ selection while I waited in line. As a side note, I used the actual tickets to enter the park. I did not have a magic band (was using CM passes to get into parks every other day).

we were at the first MVMCP last year and by 8 lines at rides were minimal. Character M&G were long

They DO offer FP+ on the days of the parties.
But, they don't offer FP at all DURING the parties (same goes for during EMH.)
