Can I use Disney Dollars on the Cruise?

I just booked for <gasp> Easter Week.... I know I know... but it was the ONLY time I could go.

My parents want to buy the kids money to use there... will they accept Disney Dollars????

Not directly. All onboard and Castaway Cay transactions (with the exception of the Castaway Cay post office) are charged to your stateroom charge account. But they can use Disney Dollars at Guest Services to pay down that account.
