Can I use American Express giftcards

around the world?

We want to put some money into giftcards and are doing a split trip Universal/Disney. We don't want to tie all our money up in Disney giftcards since we'll be at both parks. I don't want to put all our food $$ in amex gift cards if they aren't accepted. We get them with no surcharge through DH's work.

Disney takes American Express so you shouldn't have a problem with gift cards.
