Can I use a Disney gift card for gratuities?

Is it possible to use money on a Disney gift card to pay the gratuities on DDP table service meals? I would assume that it would work the same as if I were using a credit card, and the gift card website says it can be used for dining, but just wondered if anyone could confirm that it's okay for tip. Thanks!

They can. We have used them all week to pay our bill AND the tip. I never tried to pay JUST the tip, bit I assume if you can use them with the bill and tip, you should be able to use them for tip only. You will just have to fill out the slip with the exact amount the tip will be and they can just charge that to the gift card.

Sure can. We had a gift card and when my sister would take our girls for a meal the would pay for the meal with the plan and then she would pay the girls tip and extra stuff with the gift card
