Can I upgrade after a pin expires?

I booked POP with the Monster Pin for our Anniversary at the end of October.

I was thinking about upgrading to surprise DH. Question is... the Monster Pin expires next week but I wanted to wait till August to upgrade... Can I wait or do I have to upgrade before 7/10 to keep my 40% discount?

I was told yes by the CM. I booked with a 40 percent off values and asked about possibly upgrading later and I was advised no problem because it was tied to my reservation. I think we will stay where we are but it's nice to know.

Hopefully someone who has officially done this will come along and confirm!

My question is similar - I'm thinking of switching resorts and the number of people in our party. I booked with the Kids Stay, Play and Dine deal (Visa cardholders) and it expired yesterday. This morning I'm thinking of switching - wondering if I'll still be able to use that deal...

Yes, I have changed resorts after the expriation of the PIN but I must say it was a major pain. The CM had to call a manager and I was on hold for a while. At first they said no but they eventually let me do it-I think it helps when you are going to actually be spending MORE instead of less than the previous reservation.

I doubt they'll let you add more people unless the overall cost of the complete reservation would be more.

It would actually be less people - long story - but still one room and for a longer period of time (7 nights instead of 3). I'm not sure I'm going to make the change, but I'll call about it, and let you guys know if they let me.
