OK. I have asked this question once and got no clear answer. I also email Universal Studios and didn't get a straight answer from them either.

Can I upgrade a 3 park unlimited ticket to an annual pass after it has been used? This is NOT the flex ticket which I know can't be upgraded. US' response was a generic "We can upgrade any unused ticket" blah blah blah.

Has anyone ever done this successfully? I find it really hard to believe that I can't find this information ANYWHERE AT ALL.

Sorry, but what is a 3-park ticket? The only passes I see on the UO website are park-to-park (US and IOA), single park, or flex pass for 5 parks.

It isn't advertised very heavily, but it's probably the best deal for longer trips to Universal. It's 14 days of unlimited park-to-park access to both Universal parks and Wet n Wild.

That's the tickets we got for our trip coming up in November. They're about $220 per person.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well since I purchased one of these tickets for my daughter and since that time my parents have moved to Florida. I'm thinking we'll probably be visiting a bit more often.

Our trip is next week and if there has been no definitive answer, I'm going to give it a try and will report back the results.

My first reaction is that it wouldn't be upgradable, since an Annual Pass doesn't include Wet & Wild. But what do I know?

I've never heard of those, but if you bought those through Universal Orlando, there is a chance of upgrading I would think.

Hope it works out- let us know!

It is so frustrating to not know the answer but thanks for chiming in guys!

According to our resident pro on all such things, the answer has traditionally been no because there is revenue sharing between those parks.

However, someone recently said that they were able to upgrade theirs. So maybe there has been a change in procedure or the person made a mistake.

You can call or email guest services to ask them the most recent policy.

I did email them. I got no answer beyond "you can upgrade any unused ticket" essentially. I really don't want to call cause I'm sure I'll be on hold forever.

I really want to know b/c I'm not 100% sure my DH will use an AP. He hates crowds, hates waiting in line and hates roller coaters but loves HP. I feel like he won't make a decision until he's been to the park for a day or 2. I hate to spend the extra $ if he's not going to want to go back w/i the next year. We want to go to a water park so I hate to buy just a regular park to park ticket plus the extra water park ticket if I can get a better deal on the 3 park unlimited. Ugh!!

If Guest Services says you can upgrade it, then you should be able to do it. Take your email response with you. Like I said, someone here recently reported doing exactly what you want to do. It used to be that Wet and Wild wasn't owned by Universal but now it is. That may be why the policy has changed.

I am at Unviersal right now and I have to upgrade a ticket tomorrow at guest services to add on a couple more days. I will ask them while I am there for you and report back tomorrow night.

I'm here with damo and guest services said that you can not upgrade a 3 park pass.

Thank you!!! A definitive answer!! I guess now I have to decide what to do about tickets. Ugh!

Yes, they said just like phamton has said in the past that because of revenue sharing between Universal and Wet 'n Wild, they do no upgrades to the 3 park pass.
