I hope this is allowed, but we are traveling to Europe next month and while there we are going to be doing DLP of course, but also spending time in London, Ireland (Dublin) and Bristol. I have been to Bristol once before, but would love any must sees in these areas. Thanks so much!

Just moved across to UK Community, hopefully it will get some responses here.

It depends what sort of things you like doing, how long you're staying andwho it is that is going to be there.

I'll run through a few things that you can do in Bristol :)

- Bristol Zoo
- Clifton Suspension Bridge
- Bristol Museum and Art Gallery
- @ Bristol Science Musuem
- SS Great Britain
- Cabot Circus Shopping Centre
- Arnolfini Art Gallery
- Bristol Cathedral
- Banksy's Graffiti
- Bristol Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema
- Cheddar Caves and Gorge
- Noah's Ark Zoo Farm

This is just a selection of the things to do in and around Bristol. I know it looks like a lot, but I just wanted to make sure there was a selection to suit anyone!

Hope it helps a little :goodvibes

Opps I should have mention who is going  that might help :)

It will be mostly my 18 month old son and I in Bristol, but DH will be joining us for the rest of the trip. He is coming in to work a few days while we are in Bristol so he will be busy those days.

We will be in Ireland 4 days, Bristol 3 days and London probably 3 days unless we add one more Paris day to our trip.

That list for Bristol is great! I actually did a few of those things my last trip and enjoyed them all. I will have to look up some of the others as they sound fun.

Thank you also for moving this as I had no idea where to place it!

Glad you found the list a little useful; I was getting a bit carried away when writing all the things I like about Bristol! :goodvibes The science museum, zoo and aquarium might be more appropriate with your son, than for example art galleries... Feel free to ask me any questions, I'll do my best to answer them!

xxx:)

Dublin has a lot to offer it depends on what you like it is easy enough to get around it will be still cold next month but should not be too cold. If you have any questions just ask will try my best to answer :)

In Ireland we will have a car, so we are really open there. Bristol, I still need to work out. Now that we have hotels, I can focus on the sites!

if you were willing to take a short bus journey out of Bristol you could always try The Pier and Weston Super Mare it burnt down 2 and half years ago it Reopened last October all new with plenty to do inside

It's worth doing the open top tour bus in London - lets you see all the main landmarks and gives you a good idea of where everything is - and you can jump on & off all day - they quite often include a boat ride on the Thames as well which is nice

Covent Garden is a must for me - you can sit back with a coffee (or glass of wine) and listen to the performers

Natural History museum and the Science museum are excellent and also right beside each other - not sure how much appeal for your 18mo though

The British Museum is also amazing and as with all museums in London free entry

the London Eye on the South Bank gives you a great view over London - and the South Bank is lovely to walk along - the Tate Modern is also on the South Bank and across the bridge from it is St Pauls Cathedral

Madame Tussauds is another big attraction with waxworks of famous and infamous people - as is the London Dungeon but prob not with the wee one along

There is also London Zoo and many parks which are great for a walk.

I could go on and on because you are never stuck for things to do in London!
