Can I transfer 2016 points?

I was sure you are able to transfer 2016 points but when I called member services wasn't sure and then would not do it. Does anyone know for sure? Is t written anywhere?

You can transfer current use year points or one use year ahead. So you could transfer 2016 points if you have a Feb. use year.

Actually, you cannot transfer borrowed points and, since your 2016 UY points do not become active until the start of your UY, then since you would have to technically borrow those points to transfer them then it cannot be done.

As Jean mentioned you have to be in your 2015 UY in order to transfer your 2016 points.

That is not correct. If you have a Feb use year you are currently in your 2015 use year and thus can trtansfer either 2015 points to someone else into their 2015 use year or transfer your 2016 points to someone else into their 2016 use year. Borrowing would exist of using 2016 points for a 2015 use year trip and the transfer of 2016 points does not requirte any borrowing.

I was able to receive a transfer in April 2011, while in my June 2010 UY, of June 2012 UY points. So for me, they allowed it two UYs ahead. There should be no reason you can't transfer.
