Can I trade into RCI and then book a DVC??

Okay... I might not be able to use 150 points that expire the end of Aug. Can I trade them into RCI and then use them next year at a DVC??? I know NOT the best use of points at all...but just wanted someone to shed light on this for me. Also, once you trade your points in...how long do you have to use them? I am assuming that the RCI points to book a DVC resort are probably a lot higher than us booking our own DVC points? Correct??

You can only book RCI resorts that are in the DVC approved World Passport Collection. You can not get a DVC reservation using DVC points that have been banked into the RCI system.

No simply because DVC blocks it.
