Can I take something that is gift wrapped in my luggage?

I will be traveling with a wrapped present in my checked luggage, ( a gift for my DH for our anniversary). Is this going to be a problem at the airport? Should I assume that when I open my luggage at the resort that the gift will be unwrapped?

Don't wrap the gift. If they inspect your luggage, they will unwrap it, the same applies for carry on stuff. They will make you unwrap it.

If your bag is inspected, they will unwrap the package. You should put the unwrapped package in your bag along with the wrapping paper. Then you can wrap it when you arrive.

As the others have mentioned don't wrap the gift. You can take a gift bag and some tissue and assemble it when you get to WDW.
