Can I take my tripod to MK?

It's a standard size tripod, that folds up to be about 24-30". If the answer is no, what are yur tips for doing hand held fireworks shots?

You can bring it, but think long and hard about it before you do. That's a lot of equipment to be carrying all day. A Gorillapod, fast prime or a lens with good VR/IS would be my suggestions. With a good stabilized wide angle you should be able to shoot down to 1/4 or so, and I've shot down to 1/2.

I always carry a tripod and never had an issue. Mine folds down to 20" at about 3.5lbs weight. Seeing that yours folds down to 24"-30" - I find that a bit long honestly. Mine at 20" was pretty large to take around all day and I do have a special tripod holder at my backpack so it's out of the way for people but the tripod was still rather long.

Next thing to consider - what are you going to do with it when you go on rides? My 20" was pretty borderline on most rides. If you intend to store it in a locker or can leave it with someone outside, no problem, but if you intend to take it on rides, you may run into problems.
