Can I still activate tickets early?

Hello there! I am coming down to the World a couple days earlier than originally expected. My tickets and Free Dining don't start until September 10th, but I have a Room Only reservation starting on September 8th. I will be staying at the same resort for both reservations.

I know that before, you could activate your tickets early. Is this still possible? I just want to activate them the day before, on September 9th, so that DD9 and I can go to the water park during the day and then HS for Club Villain that night

If this is still possible, can Guest Relations at the Water Parks activate the tickets or only one of the theme parks?
