Can I ship christmas presents to a resort?

We wanted to surprise our children with some Christmas presents while we were at WDW. We wanted to ship them out so they would arrive during our visit. Does anybody know if WDW resorts will accept packages on behalf of guests?

Yes they will. Just use the address that is on your confirmation. I would also put the dates of your stay on the front bottom of the box so they know when you will be there.

I have heard of several people doing this, even at times other than Christmas.

I think all the resorts are set up to handle this.

It will be a great surprise for the children.

Mark your box so that it stands out from the others. Put stickers on it, etc. So you can say my box is the Downy box with Mickey stickers on it. Makes it easier to find. I am sure lots of folks will be sending boxes at Christmas.

Not only have I sent things to the resort from home. I have bought things on the internet and had them delivered to the resort to await my arrival. I have never had a problem. In fact on last year's trip I even received an unexpected parcel from my sister and her family.
so go ahead and ship everything. There is no greater experience then to hear the person behind the desk say "We have a package for you".

I ship a box or two for every stay - we only travel with our carryons. I did notice in December that the boxes were in much worse shape than usual when delivered to our room. The mail room guy told me they literally get thousands of boxes at Christmas time. Nothing was damaged but I could not re-use the boxes to ship things home.
