I used Amy MICKEY's transfer paper. This was my first attempt at using it. It turned out pretty good, except that the white areas are turning a little pink. (The red is bleeding thru?) Does that mean that I ironed it wrong, or is this to be expected? Thanks for letting me share!

Oh, and I tried cutting out the hole in the 'A', but I was scratching the transfer, and so I left the hole in the second 'A' intact. I hope it is not too noticeable. (Guess that is what my practice shirt is for!) I figure DS will still love it when he gets home from school...

Be sure your iron is not set too high when ironing red tshirts - especially on 50/50 shirts. I do not know why that seems to make a difference with the 50/50 but I personally have found it does make a difference.

If you already have your iron set one below the highest setting than I would turn it down a little more and/or do not iron for quite so long.

OK- so I have a question- I didn't even think about cutting out the letters for the name fills, but that's a great idea! Do most of you cut out your designs before you transfer them?

This is just adorable!!! May I ask how you did this one? We were hoping to find one just like this with a mom, dad, 2 boys and a girl

And I edited it with GIMP(sim. to photoshop) - i inverted the colors and then copied/pasted the family members all together.

Then I used Word to add the text (textbox). The font I used was Goudy Stout...

PM me if you want me to try and add a girl on for you...

I was inspired by the Toy Story thread and found some AWESOME pics of the characters, so I started with an LGM...

May I ask what is Amy MICKEY's transfer paper?? I've been having a problem with transfers-I'm making tote bags and the iron on is bubling and ripping-son't know what I"m doing wrong...any suggestions??

I searched this forum and a lot of people agree that AmyMICKEY's transfer paper is the best....

My experience so far has been GREAT! No tearing, just make sure you follow her directions exactly.

My only extra advice is to lighten your images a bit, because they seem to print out a lot darker on paper than what you see on the screen...
