I have booked the 8pm Spirit of Aloha dinner show for NYE and wondered if we would be able to see the midnight fireworks from the Polynesian Resort beaches and if so which one would be the best or should we catch the monorail round to one of the other resort hotels?

Thanks. Camac

I believe you can see the Wishes fireworks from the beach at the Poly :)

Yes clearly i have done so from the beach and a lagoon view room, looks good, the closest is the Contemporary very good view, but sideways on with the fireworks more over space mountain, at the Polynesian you are straight on so they look like they are coming up from behind the castle.

You certainly can, but I would move around a bit (away from Luau cove) in order to get a better view. The beach in front of the swimming pool is best. The Polynesian is the furthest from the MK, but you have a head-on view compared with the slightly to-the-side views from the GF and CR.

During peak periods (such as 4th July) they often check resort IDs and don't let non-residents on the beaches.....I'm not sure if this would be the case on NYE (I don't think so).

Thanks for the replies. We should be OK as far as ID goes as we will already be in the resort for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.
