Can I scan into Blizzard Beach before I scan into my reserved park?

I have park hopper pluses for August and I want to hit up the water park before the afternoon rain and thunderstorm. Because they don’t take park reservations, does the scan in to the reserved park rule not apply here?

The "scan before hopping" rule only applies to the theme parks. Enjoy your morning at Blizzard Beach!

Going to a waterpark with a PH+ ticket isn't "hopping" it's using the "plus" feature of your ticket. Hopping only refers to the 4 major theme parks: MK, Epcot, DHS, AK.

I guess just to clarify though, if you are going to one (or more) theme park in the afternoon, you will still need to have a park pass for the first park you visit other than blizzard beach. You can't just go to Blizzard Beach and then at 2pm hop to whatever park you want without making a park pass reservation.

I have park passes already. Made them Saturday!! May these next 81 days fly by.

We'll see you at the waterpark. We leave in 83 days and will be in Disney from Aug 1-14 and have many trips to the waterpark planned.
