Can I reuse old cards?

Hi! We visited DW 2 years ago. I still have our old cards they gave us at Will call.

Would I be able to purchase tickets at my local Disney Store, and have them added to these cards I already possess?

I'm not sure how tickets at the Disney Store work. Will we have a physical card, a voucher, and how does Photo Pass/ Memory Maker work with that?

Can I purchase Memory Maker in advance if I don't buy the tickets online?

And Lastly, am i able to "Link" the tickets I buy from the store to my account to make Fast Pass reservations?

I think I'm forgetting something! LOL

No, unfortunately we are not staying on property this time. We do have the Magic Bands we purchased from our trip 2 years ago, but I don't know if they even work....

If I were you I would buy discount tickets from Undercover Tourist or Parksavers rather than paying full price at the Disney Store.

They will work for park entrance and at any touch points. They probably won't work for the special magic on Haunted Mansion, IASW, etc. They also won't work for auto-load of ride photos and photopass so just make sure you tap the band to the touch points and you'll be fine.

not every ride has a screen to tap.. 7dmt you will not get a photo or video as there is no screen. I forget the other rides with videos but they also must be linked by magic band to get them. i'm going to guess that the new norway ride for frozen if it has photos or video on the ride will not have a screen to tap as well. ToT has a rumor there is about to be a bar in the exit so I can see the screens coming out from there.

If ride photos are important, you probably should plan on a new magic band. all other features of the band will work with the ticket they will be sending you or you can use your old bands.

Big Thunder is about to have a refurb to change the exit.. I think we're going to see them added.. I also read awhile ago that cameras were added to haunted mansion to get the video of you with a ghost at the end but that hasn't started to get added yet or it was a rumor that was unfounded.

Well, we leave in less than 2 weeks. I also checked the price difference and UndercoverTourist.com says my savings is $3.00, lol

As long as the battery is good they can still work- ours did. You don't have to stay on property to use magic bands- as long as you have the cards linked to your account all you need is your MB to get in.
