Can I request a seat if booked Extra Leg Room?

Hi does anyone know if I can request our seats if I have booked extra legroom ones?
We are travelling as a party of 8 & hope to be seated together .

Sam, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can. Presume you're talking about VA? I thought I read somewhere that extra legroom seats were pre-allocated.
