Can I preorder solid color magicbands?

That’s really frustrating that the cheapest options aren’t available but sadly if we are being honest, are we surprised? Not even a little.

Yes, you can only place one order. If you order only one band, you cannot go back and order any additional at a later time. You don't have to order a band for everyone in your party, but you can't go back and order again.

Same here! Have an August trip and I'm waiting to see if they are offered for pre-arrival purchase. I made the mistake one year of ordering only two of four magic bands thinking I could go back and buy the remaining two later. I was wrong! Fortunately it was when the solid colors were free, so we got the two missing ones when we checked in. But not the patterned ones we wanted to order and I didn't want to pay full price for them! Have a great trip!

I got ones for our May trip this morning. There are 6 of us so paying $10 vs $30 per band makes a huge difference in overall cost.

I think this is not quite right. You can't go back and order again WITH the pre-arrival discount from having a resort reservation. But you can always order MagicBands from shopDisney at whatever price they are currently charging (which may or may not be cheaper than waiting until you arrive).
