Can I practice for FP morning?

I have two tickets linked in the MDE app, but when I go to “practice “ FP it tells me I need tickets. When I called tech support they told me that it was because I’m not at my 60 day window. My resort reservation seems to be linked and I’ve done online check in. I just don’t want to have any issues at 7am on my 60 day mark.
When I had an AP voucher ( a couple years ago) it would let me “ practice “ and of course I canceled anything I made.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not with date-based tickets.

Nope if you have regular tickets, you can't practice booking FP ahead of time. MDE won't recognize that you have active tickets for FP booking until your window officially opens.

No. However, best way to get much of you want is have a plan for what you want on what days and prioritize the key ones. FOP and SDD as well as 7DMT and MMRR are and will be the tough ones. Get what you can on these and then you can go back and modify times. Then you can fill in the days and remaining FP you may want. Don’t worry about filling out a given day at first, get those big hard to gets first. I have my best successes that way. If you have to switch a day don’t be afraid to. If you have an ADR keep it and. See if available if you have to change a day.

Key is have a plan and backup plan.

Something you can always do is go to touring plans/dibb and check out fp availability on 60+ days from today.

It's not an exact science of course, but it can give you some idea of what will be available on your own respective days.
