Yep. This a great way to get your vacation paid for before you leave, since they won't let you pay for the DDP in advance.

Someone posted very recently that they were not able to use the gift card to pay for the DDP as the resort front desks had no way to accept them right now. So I would not purchase one for that purpose right now. The problem is supposed to be fixed...I think the poster was told by next year!

I don't know about the gift card, but the disney dollars should work. I was going to use this form of payment on a recent trip and was told DD are accepted. Just call and confirm directly with your resort.

great idea! I would have put it on my CC and paid for it later. I hate having CC bills AFTER my vacation.
