Can I obtain rider swap passes during morning magic hour?

We are hoping to ride Everest, dinosaur and primeval whirl during extra magic hour with ds7, but we will have ds2 with us as well. I was hoping to do one ride on each and get rider swap passes to save for later in the day so I can ride with ds7 while dh takes ds2 to see nemo. The only thing open during emh for ds2 is triceratops spin and doing rider swap on each of this rides will result in a long time of waiting for ds2. Will I be able to get rider swap passes during morning emh? That would make my day so much easier with ds2.

If there is next to no line, they will sometimes not hand them out, on the theory that the other parent could ride right away as soon as you get off. So, maybe, or maybe not. You probably won't know until you get there.

Even without a line, though, some of these take a while to get through---particularly Dinosaur. It might be worth not bothering with the second ride for it, and doing something else instead.

We were just there this week and they would not hand out ride swap tickets to us if the wait was under 10/15 minutes or so. They told us the other parent could just walk right back on. It was disappointing because we planned to use our second ride later in the day, as you had planned. I guess it's hit or miss! Good luck.

During morning EMH this past week, there was only a 10 min. wait for Soarin' but they still gave us a child swap pass anyway. But it was actually a walk-on in the stand-by line, so we wouldn't have really needed it.
