Can I meet Carl, Doug, and Russell at DCA?

I saw the adventure Explorers entrance by Grizzly River Run, but didn't go in. Can I meet them in there or is it just an obstacle course for kids?

In the Redwood Creek Challenge Trails are a sort of obstacle course and some short trails to wander. Russel and Doug are on the trails.

Thank you- does that mean I can get a photo with them? I'm going to assume there is no Photopass Photographer there.

Russell is in a show (like the old Brother Bear show) for wilderness explorers, and you can meet him after. I don't know where Doug was going, but we ran into him as he came out from backstage on a trail behind the little amphitheater.

We met Dug at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. There was a photopass photographer there but I imagine that's not always the case.

I met Dug maybe 10 minutes after the show with Russell. There was a photopass photographer with Russell (in case you want autographs: he does not sign) and he told me to hang around and wait, he was coming back with Dug right away when Russell's meet and greet was over. True to his word he did.

It does seem you have to go to the show to meet Russell. They closed the area off and let no one else in when I watched. I was a solo adult and no one did bat an eyelid. They even gave me the sticker the kids get.

You can definitely meet Dug and Russell at the Redwood Creek Challenge, but I've never caught them at the same time.

Anyone find it weird that Dug can sign but Russel can't?
