I was able to book the FDP for one night during my trip, but it's my arrival day, and the only time available is 2:15. I haven't booked my flight yet, but depending on which I do, I will land at 10:30 at the latest. Is four hours enough time to get the DME bus, check-in at my resort, and get to the Studios?

Well, IF your plane lands on time, and IF you really hoof it over to the ME desk, and IF the bus is more or less loaded already, and IF yours is one of the first stops, and IF there isn't a long line at the check in counter at the resort, and IF the bus to DHS comes soon after you get to the bus stop: then YES. Good luck.

If you're crunched for time, you don't have to check in as soon as you arrive, and you could take a cab from your resort to the studios. You would likely have time after your meal to go back to your resort and check in before Fantasmic (depending on what time F! starts that night)

If the dinner package is really that important to you, I would go with an earlier flight.

Four hours is enough time as long as your plane is not delayed. To save a little time you could do online check in. You'll still need to stop at the desk to get your KTTW card/DDP/park tickets (any or all that's applicable.)

If you're running late you can take a taxi from your resort to DHS.

One thing to keep in mind - there's a 2 day cancellation policy and a $10 per person no show fee for the FDP if you don't make it to your meal.

RE DANCEINTHERAIN'S post: Well, if you have booked a package deal that included park admission, you WOULDhave to check in before you can head to a park. Otherwise how are you going to get in? But you don't have to go to your room. Just grab that KTTW and run!

Of course if you have pre purchased your admission pass, then you can just head from ME directly to the park bus and worry about checking into your hotel later that night.

That's true, I hadn't thought about not checking in. I don't have a package deal, just a room only reservation, and I already have a park ticket from a previous trip.

And I know I'm risking losing the $10 if I don't make it, but I'd rather risk the $10 then not have the FDP one night.

I think I've just got to hope for no delays.

So yer all set! Good luck and will send some pixie dust for an ontime arrival at MCO!pixiedust:

I personally don't think the F!DP is worth it. There are a lot of "IF's" and running around involved for a travel day. Why not just make a normal ADR and then go see F! that night anyway. The F!DP seats are not that good. I would rather take my chances waiting on line for better seats without the package, not to mention all the stress it would eliminate if any delays come about.
