Can I make it from Fantasmic to TSM in time?

We will be at HS on 12/21. I have never seen Fantasmic and it is showing at 7 and 8:30 that night. We have an ADR at 50s PT at 9, so I'm guessing the 8:30 showing is out. We also have FP+ for TSM from 6:50 to 7:50. There are 6 of us. Any chance we can get out of Fantasmic and to TSM by 7:50?

Yup. If you don't dawdle leaving the show.

F! runs 29 minutes.
It can take up to 15 min. to exit unless you sit high in the back-right of the seating, not far from an aisle. You can beat much of the crowd just by sitting high in the theater.
I don't suggest leaving F! early. The best parts of the show are in the last 5 minutes.

(Also, there is a 15 minute grace period after the FP+ window expires.)

Robo is exactly right (as usual) but my concern with a 7pm showing on 12/21 is that it is likely to be absolutely packed so you may have to get there really early to get 6 seats close to an aisle in Ursula/Sebastian/Scar. If you end up Jafar or further you're going to be a while getting out of there no matter what!

Don't want to spoil anything by saying too much about the ending but while I agree with Robo about not leaving early since the last few minutes are great - I usually get up about 10 seconds early (which believe it or not helps a lot since I can usually make it up the aisle during those last few seconds before everyone else stands up). You'll definitely be able to feel when it's about over but what I'd do is right after Mickey makes a big appearance and says "Some imagination, huh?" - get up and try to get up to the top of the theater quick!

The 15 minute grace should give you a good safety net but leaving the theater from far back is really unpleasant even if you're not trying to get anywhere!

So, what is early? What time would you suggest getting in line?

JUST FYI- When I was there in November.... I think half of the theater was reserved for FP+ or F! Dinner package. We got there very early for the 7:30 show and the closest to the exit we could get was Pocahontas. We did get seats on an end row, fairly high up. So even if you leave at the end of the show, you will still be behind half of the theater. We had a FP for TSMM at 7:45 so we did get up during the last five minutes of the show and walked slowly towards the exit, kind of watching the show as we headed for the exit.

You can make it no problem. Plus you have a 15 minute grace on your fastpass return time. No worries.
