Can I have a couple of PS at the same time?

I didn't think they'd allow me to do it, but they did and didn't mention anything about me already having PS for that time at a different restaurant.

It just happened because my aunt will be joining us for our day in Epcot. She's not the type to ever want to follow any kind of plan or schedule, which would include having to keep to a certain PS time. She'd normally just grab food on the run.

MY DH and I, though, really LOVE planning our trip- and all the places we'll eat in.

Not knowing IF she'll want to eat with us or not, I made one PS for all FIVE of us in the restaurant in Mexico at 5:30- and made a PS for just the THREE of us in Morocco at 5:30 (since my aunt wouldn't want to eat there).

I also did a similar thing for lunch that day.

Is this "illegal" to have numerous PS reservations for the same time? Do you know if someone will catch on and "reprimand" us, or cancel our PS?

Thanks,
Danielle

No .. it's not because it's not a ressie .. it's not like the table is waiting for you with no one sitting there. It just means someone who is trying to get a table will be able to get in.

I do call and cancel my extras out of courtesy if I can at all.

I wouldn't worry about it ... it's not like the Disney police are going to hunt you down!!!

I would think they do. I called recently to make a new PS because we changed our minds. The CM didn't even realize that I had another at the same time. I did let her know though, so I could cancel the first one. :)

I think you'll be ok. From what I've read, people do it all the time until they decide exactly waht they want and what time etc. and then they just cacel the ones they aren't going to use. It happens with Princess breakfasts all the time. You're safe! :D

i'm sure you'll be fine... i doubt the ps police will nab ya... but, on the flipside, it's kinda not fair to those that want a ps and cannot get one 'cause you're holding two... out of consideration for others, i don't think i'd double book...

we did it last trip, since we weren't sure what park we'd end up at for lunch (hitting 3 in one day). we did stop in and cancel our PS at the other restaurant when we figured it out though =)

they don't care =)

PLEASE cancel the PS you're not going to use as soon as you and your aunt decide about your meal plans. That way others will have an easier time getting a last minute PS. I think you can go into ANY sit down restaurant and let the hostess know that you won't be using a PS, even if it's not for that restaurant. They can put the info in the computer.

What Sherri said. ::yes::

The only time the PS Police nabbed us was when we had two reservations for the same day at CRT. Of course that was pre-credit card deposit. Now that you have to pay a deposit they may not care. I understood why they monitored CRT at that time. With PS times being "sold out" in minutes and many people calling from multiple phones in the effort to grab the oh, so elusive PS they wanted to make sure everything was fairly booked. The time we got "nabbed" my DW and I had both been calling.......and we both got a PS. About 20 minutes later we got a call. We were in the process of deciding which time to keep and planned on cancelling the extra.

Other than that, there have been times we've had more than one PS for the same meal at different places and it's not a problem. Best to cancel the one you won't be using once you decide where you will go.

Thank you all for your feedback.

I should have included in my original post:
Of course I will cancel the other reservations that we don't plan on using.

I know how hard it is to come by some PS. We'll be seeing her that morning and would cancel any PS that we don't plan on using.
