Can I handle Space Mountain?

I was thinking that I really wanted to try this next time...

Last trip, I went on Splash Mountain, Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dinosaur and Test Track.

Splash Mountain I handled fine, except the drop in the darkness (it's not that I didn't know it was coming, it just feels more intense)

Barnstormer was...horribly mild :confused3

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was alright, except for the 'I am gonna fall out!' feeling I got. Oh, and the time I rode it at night was terrifying, the ' I am gonna fall out' feeling was ten times worse and it was much more intense

Dinosaur was fine, a bit rough, but one of my favorite rides :)

Test Track was my second favorite ride of the trip, and I enjoyed it at both nighttime and daytime. :)

Does Space Mountain go upside down?

Because my first rollercoaster was one outside of WDW which sent me upside down. NEVER AGAIN!
Scared to death! :scared1:

Anyway...do you think I could handle Space Mountain? :)

Space Mountain doesn't go upside down, but if you disliked the feeling of Big Thunder in the dark you may want to skip Space Mountain.

That said, I know you could handle it. ;) It's a wild mouse type coaster (lots of quick dips, tight turns, sudden rises, but nothing BIG), but it is in the dark, which doesn't really allow you to anticipate the drops and turns.

If you can handle the drops and turns on Big Thunder, Space Mountian isn't really much different. But again, it has the element of darkness, so that makes it feel a bit zippier.

I think you can handle it.... it is pretty amazing, it is dark, and creepy, and fast.... but still amazing.

if you survived the last part of test track, then i think you would be ok on space mountain.:rotfl:
if you feel uncomfortable in the dark then maybe skip it but it is a fun ride!:)

I, eprsonally think you'll be fine. :thumbsup2 Space Mountain was the first coaster I ever rode, whihc was at age four. Yes it does have some sharp turns, but since it's in the dark it doesn't seem to extreme. Lol, you'll have a gret time!!!

Do a search on youtube for Space Mountain. Make sure it is the WDW one though. I have been nervous about some of the rides and that is what I have been doing! I have read that SM only goes about 28 mph but b/c of the darkness it feels faster. BTMRR goes almost 40 mph.

Space Mountain was the first and only rollercoaster that I have ever ridden. I rode it in ninth grade which was 1979. It terrified me.:scared1: Afterwards I was nauseous for about five hours.:sad2:

I am a rollercoaster WHIMP! and I survived.:cool1:

Think of it as Big Thunder combined w/ Splash Mountain's last fall completely in the dark! I always close my eyes:rotfl2: but don't know why because you can't really see anything w/ your eyes open.

Think of it this way, if you've done all of the other coasters at MK, after you ride Space Mtn., you can say you've done them all! Big achievement!:thumbsup2

I bet if we could get in there and actually see it with the lights on, we'd all just crack up and how mild it looks!
