AUGH -
we had a great morning - dropped DD off at schoold , went by DH's jobsite to check things out, trip to Walmart, then Matt's "school" - playgroup til 11:00, to the bank and Mickey D's for lunch - what more could an almost 3 year old want!
I retreated to my room to check my e-mail for 15 minutes - he was quietly playing with his Thomas Train -
I went back and OH MY!
I knew he liked baby powder -
but OH MY
an almost brand new bottle - of course - is now empty. But Thomas's flatbed friend is now full - as well as the dump truck...and my rug -
I took a deep breath and ran for camera of course -
Now I have to clean it -

I'll take him back when he is - say - 6 or so!

LOL
KIDS:rolleyes:

I'll trade you for a 12 DD. I'll take the mischief over hormones any day. LOL

Too funny Patty! I would have died! But so glad you knew to grab the camera

WDWMom how did you get that great kewl tags! Too funny!

Spinning,

I received my tags from the Tag Fairy on the Rewards Board. Of the three, the first one was from a post, the last one was from a post DH did but forgot to log me out and him in. The middle one is the nicknames of our kids. Skinny Minnie and Sticky Mickey are DD - 12 and DS - 8 who were both premies and very thin. Jumbo Dumbo is DS - 7 who was a whopping 2 weeks early and weighed 1.5 pounds more than his brother. At 7 pounds 2 ounces he was quite big for one of our children. As you can tell, we are a Disney family through and through.

How I wish I knew I was going to scrapbook when DD was young.

I'll take your 3 year old if you'll take my 15 year old (today) DD.

I love it...that is great...BF and I always talk about what are kids are going to do to us when if we ever have them...no plans in the making for now...but we know just what kinds of attitudes we're gonna get...and how many times in a life time we are going to hear "You're doing it wrong" I'd hate to challenge the poor BF to a game of witt...oh thats gonna be just dandy....

Did you SS put it on her list??? Should be under there somewhere if she really wanted a 3 y/o

WDWMom can I have your "there goes that "family" feeling out the door again" tag-that is great-sums up my DISfunctional one!!!

asked me where babies came from yesturday -
and I know she is to old now for that Stork story....
 so what do I do....
I asked her (not knowing what friends have mentioned yet) if she knoew about eggs and sperm - 'no AM I GOING TO LAY AN EGG' she yells! Oh god no - it stays inside and the sprem go to it - 'OK- How does it get to it - oh mo - is this gross - maybe I'm not ready to know yet'
At this point I am REALLY having a hard time maintaning composure!
So I said do you know what 'Sex' means? 'No - Is it bad she replies'. I said not always - depends on the way you do it...if it is with the person you REALLY love and plan to spend the rest of your life with it isn't'
She says 'ok this is all gross'
I said tell ya what - when you are ready to know - then just ask again - don't go to your friends - cuz they don't always know the truth and might tell you some wierd stuff'
'OK' she says' did your friends tell you wierd stuff when you were little'
Yep' I say
Like what she want to know
so I told her about the time a girl told me you couldn't get pregnant if you stood on your head (I left out that the person said ' after having sex- not going there yet)
she says ' Did you believe it?'
lol
So as you can see I don't need a replacement teenager - i almost have one!
Sprry about the rambelling - you all got me started with the teen thing!
I have to go check the SS's list now to see if she needs a 9 year old (going on 16) or a 3 year old.
WDW I love your tags too - I have a VERY DISfunctional family as you can see lol

Oh Patty you are making me :rotfl:

When my DD asked at a younger age How do you make a baby. I said you fall in love with a wonderful man, get married, love your husband in a special way and God helps you have a baby.

Then, when two of our nieces decided to have children out of wed lock, she came back and said how could they have a baby they aren't married. So, :faint: then I had to tell her more. She also thought it was gross. And said so you only did that once with Daddy since you only have me right? I said no it's something special married people do. She was horrified :scared: and continued to say "You don't do that when I'm here do you - You wait till I'm at a sleep over I HOPE"

Oh what I would give for her thinking that way still. I'm starting to get real nervious since she now thinks she's :lovestruc but atleast she's very open with us and we talk about it alot. I have explained you are too young, and one mistake can ruin your dreams of what you want to do forever. I just keep praying she is hearing us and waits till she is oh I don't know 25.

Ladies,

Your stories are making me laugh. DD at 12 doesn't want to know anything. I'm not even sure what she knows and what she doesn't when it comes to sex. I keep the lines of communication open but it is only one way. DD wants nothing to do with growing up at all. I guess I should be thankful she is so innocent. Atleast I do not have to worry about the boy thing yet.

Maybe she's not interested because the last time she asked where babies came out from I told her the truth.
She was in the tub and stood up and bent over to see where they might.
She then asked if it hurt.
I said, "Yes, a lot."
She said then she wasn't ever going to have babies then.
I thought GOOD at the time. You keep thinking that for 20 more years.

Dh said I shouldv'e lied to her. I said no way. I did not want her coming back to me one day saying it was an easy thing.LOL

with this!
Gab had asked me about it when Matt was born - and i said - oh not right now I'll tell you later -
yesturday was later -
I would rather hear the truth from me than someone else!

She knows that she can't date til after shes married
and she can't get married til she 25!
LOL

Beansmom - hhmmm that does sound familiar -

Patty,

I think you need to take a quicky trip to WDW to take DD to see "the Making of Me" then you will have a nice long chat after that!

Have fun!

I'm so glad I don't have girls! BUT, having a boy who is 13 isn't easy either.

DH's job was to have "the talk" with my oldest a couple of years ago. I can only say that he won't be talking to my other two!

I am not sure how to keep sane with my 3yr old. He thinks since he is the "big boy" he can pick up his sister (9 months old)

That is the reason I do not have a new baby yet -
my DS - 3 has been WONDERFUL birth control - I could only imagine what he would do with a little one!
Good luck!

I love your Mickey Picture btw!
Hope you don't mind I stole it for my Disney clipart folder for future use on a scrappin page! ;)

Hate to say tis but I did it to my mom when I was 4 I did it after a bath. One of those memories that are as if it happend yesterday. I can remember every detail. Tell your son I feel for him:(

I know that I am having flashbacks of my mom saying 'augghhh just wait til you have kids - I hope they do the same things to you!'

they are

Matt story of the day -
We got back from Mohegian Sun (dh and I ) at 5pm ish and mil left, dh left - I decided not to cook - brought the kids through Burger King (I was still full from that casino buffet lol)

So DD and DS were sitting at the table eating DS had a salad (thats what he wanted who am I to complain)
DD left the table - was done - figured he might munch on the 2 chicken tenders and the fries that were left -

well she left the almost new bottle of ketchup there with him..

yep

you guessed it...

I came back in the room to find a half empty bottle of ketchup and an overflowing chicken nugget box of ketchup

Ran for the camera again ;)

Im a little worried that he will think he is doing good things since I always take his pic then scold him lol

I wish they stayed little forever - I really do! I have to say they definately relieve the monotony (?sp) of life!

You know what the funny part of that really is..... You think one day you won't have to keep such close eyes on the kids. BUT that really is not the truth. We have to keep our eyes on them FOREVER!!!!!!!!
