Can I get your opinion on this AK/Everest question?

DH and DD want to ride Everest a couple times. DS and I don't ride it at all.
We've all agreed to meet different characters this trip but we always avoid big lines for characters.

For a 9am rope drop:

9:00 Pocahontas (her first scheduled time)
9:30 Tarzan (his first scheduled time)
DH/DD go to Everest
Me/DS go to Dinoland

How long will the Everest line be if DH and DD go with us to the meet & greets?
They have an Everest FP for later in the day but they wanted to ride it more than once.

Everest first, unless they don't mind the single rider line. At open they would be able to quickly ride a couple of times, but the single rider line will stay manageable for a while.

I agree with the above post, if your DD doesn't mind single rider you can do that later. If not ride EE first.

I've done EE first and gotten 2 rides in before the stampede occurs! Characters will be available later. JMHO

We've never done everest, but it is probably the most popular attraction besides the safari at Animal Kingdom. That being said if you want to ride this ride multiple times then I would definitely hit it at RD and before the character meet and greets

I agree. FWIW, Tarzan and Pocahontas ain't exactly Anna & Elsa in the popularity department. ;)

We were at RD a couple of days at AK last week. Everyone seemed to be heading either for Safaris or Everest. We headed to Everest first and the line built up quickly and we were at the front of RD, it didn't take long before wait times were 1/2 hr but this was during spring break. After Everest, we would head over to Dinosaur which has 10 min wait times. Luckily, we had FP+ for Safaris for later on in the day. We met Pocahontas and Tarzan (bonus that Terk jumped into the photo too) with a 15 min wait. I would do Everest and Dinosaur first.

Maybe it was just a timing thing...but we were there in the middle of July and there was literally 0 wait for Tarzan. Like he was standing there desperate for people to stop :) Pocohontas we got to about 10 mins before a set, total might have waited like 20 mins. Have fun :)

Went to EMH and as we got there they were already letting people in (we were 5-10 minutes before opening). Thought we were going to be stuck in lines, but we walked right in Everest twice. Then walked over to safari (about 10 minutes I'd say) and waited maybe 5 minutes. It was less than an hour from entry to the end of safari for us during a lower crowd period.
