Can i get some help/advice re phone bookings please?

Hi all,
Im pricing up for a friend who doesnt have a credit card and I was just wondering what way phone bookings work?
Does it come out of her bank a/c if she doesnt have a credit card or is it even possible to book without a credit card?
I know theres a 10 or 35% deposit and then the rest comes out before she leaves but otherwise Im lost

It's exactly the same, I don't have a credit card either, 10% deposit and balance at 60 days'ish. Just to note they class visa debit as credit so still have £9 charge

she uses her bank debit card to make the booking over the phone - its treated exactly the same as a credit card, so the money comes out of her bank for the deposit within 7 days of her making the phone booking, and then the balance will usually be taken automatically from the same bank account (the CM on the phone will confirm all of this) 60 days before her check-in date.

Sorry to jump on this, but.... can you make extra payments throughout the time between making the booking and the balance being due?
